Open counts are an agent's own submissions. Closed counts what
each person actually finished, whichever side of the desk they sit on.

Activity and finance. Every date check and every booking is logged here. Nothing in this tab holds anyone up — agents get answers and confirmations directly from the booking desk. Your only action is checking card spend, whenever it suits you.
Country control. Countries marked open appear in the main availability view agents work from. Countries marked waitlist drop into a separate section, so agents know upfront there is no live appointment to sell.

Storage
Passports, confirmations and receipts are held on the server, outside the web root. Clear old ones periodically so the hosting quota stays comfortable.
How the portal behaves. These are the business rules
— what a fee is charged in, how long the desk has to pick something up, which hours the
clock runs in, and who gets told what by email. They used to be changeable only by running SQL
against the live database. Changes take effect on the next request.
Mail server
The test goes through the same queue as everything else, so if it arrives,
everything else will too.
Staff and passwords. Passwords are stored hashed — nobody, including you, can read one back. If someone forgets theirs, set a new one here and they will be asked to replace it the moment they sign in. Switching an account off stops them signing in but keeps every request they ever handled.

Add a member of staff
Give them the temporary password in person. The portal will insist they set their own before they can do anything.
